Agribusiness Banking Manager Location: Moree, NSW Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for an experienced Agribusiness Banking Manager to join a major financial services organisation in Moree. This role will take ownership of an established agribusiness broker portfolio, with a strong focus on developing broker relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored lending solutions to agricultural customers. You'll be responsible for both portfolio growth and credit quality, making this a great opportunity for someone who combines strong relationship management and business development skills with solid commercial lending and financial analysis experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key agribusiness broker relationships
• Develop trusted relationships with brokers, customers and key stakeholders across the local market
• Identify and convert new lending and business development opportunities
• Assess the commercial viability and risk profile of new business
• Analyse cash flows, financial statements and lending structures
• Prepare business lending proposals for larger or more complex transactions
• Exercise lending authority where appropriate
• Maintain strong portfolio credit quality while driving profitability and growth
• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and customer growth
• Support broader team performance and the delivery of high-quality customer service

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in agribusiness banking, commercial banking or business lending
• Strong knowledge of credit assessment and financial analysis
• Experience managing and developing a portfolio of commercial customers or broker relationships
• An established network within the broker or agribusiness sector
• Strong relationship management and business development capability
• Confidence analysing financial statements and annual cash flows
• Strong commercial negotiation skills
• A proactive, driven approach to winning and developing new business
• An understanding of agricultural businesses and the commercial factors affecting regional customers
• Previous experience in a dedicated Agribusiness Banker/Manager position would be highly regarded.
