About the role

We are currently recruiting for anewly created Maintenance Team Leader position on our Night Shift (6:00pm to 6:00am). Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will play a key part in leading our Maintenance team and supporting operational excellence.

The Role

This is a frontline leadership opportunity responsible for leading a team of 3-5 employees (depending on shift), driving safety, quality, performance, and team capability across one of our manufacturing areas.

In this role you will:

• Experienced in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate maintenance activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience using CMMS systems such as MEX.
• Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, safety systems, and GMP requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.

About You

You are a trade-qualified Electrician with experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment. You enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and preventative maintenance, and take pride in maintaining safe and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and site equipment.
• Performing preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
• Diagnosing faults in PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
• Supporting the installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of plant and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and work orders through the CMMS (MEX).
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in line with safety, GMP, and site standards.
• Working closely with Production and Maintenance teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and efficiency.
