Analyst - Customer Due Diligence & Enhanced Customer Due Diligence 6 Month Maximum Term

An exciting opportunity exists for an Analyst - Customer Due Diligence & Enhanced Customer Due Diligence to join our Financial Crime Operations & Solutions team on a 6-month maximum term contract.

Reporting to the Manager - Customer Due Diligence & Enhanced Customer Due Diligence, you will play a key role in supporting Crown's ongoing Customer Due Diligence obligations and ensuring compliance with AML/CTF regulatory requirements across the business. You will contribute to a high-performing team responsible for customer risk reviews, enhanced due diligence activities, and financial crime risk mitigation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

  • Execute Ongoing Customer Due Diligence (OCDD) workflows and ensure cases are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Conduct customer due diligence reviews and prepare concise, risk-based assessments and reports.
  • Identify and elevate customer profiles requiring Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD), periodic reviews, or trigger event reviews.
  • Support investigations and reviews by gathering, analysing, and documenting relevant customer information.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Financial Crime Operations, Customer Intelligence & Due Diligence, and the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit (FCIU).
  • Assist in developing key metrics, risk reporting, and insights that support financial crime risk management activities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic reporting for high-risk customers.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving AML/CTF obligations, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely manner and maintain accurate records and audit trails.
  • Continuously build and maintain specialist knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and industry best practice.

About You

You are a curious and analytical professional who enjoys investigating complex matters, identifying risk indicators, and working collaboratively to achieve strong compliance outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and assess complex information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience

  • Sound knowledge of AML/CTF regulatory requirements.
  • Experience conducting customer due diligence, risk assessments, or investigations within a regulated environment.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, financial crime, compliance, or risk functions will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in gaming operations and an understanding of customer transactional behaviour is advantageous.
  • A background in analytical, investigative, intelligence, compliance, or data-driven disciplines.
