Operations Officer - Lead Trainer

• $100,894 to $114,476 + 15% Commuted Allowance + 12% Super
• Ongoing, Full Time
• Operational requirement: Ability to travel from home or another non-work location to the Regional Office or nominated ICC within 60 minutes when rostered as Duty Officer (Outside Ordinary Hours)

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Operations Officer – Leader Trainer (OO-LT) is responsible for working closely with Unit Support Teams implementing and delivering competency-based training and assessment programs & skills maintenance activities.

The OO-LT also supports the design and review of relevant training programs and packages.This role will actively undertake operational command and control functions during specific local, regional and/or state-wide operations performing the Regional Duty Officer function and/or Incident Management Team (IMT) role by maintaining appropriate accreditation, ensuring the appropriate advice, support and allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response.
