We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our fleet maintenance workshop in Smithfield. Reporting to the Head of Fleet and maintenance, you will lead a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities
• Lead, coach, and support workshop personnel to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives
• Monitor fleet availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdown response to minimise operational downtime
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, OEMs, and warranty providers
• Ensure accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and system updates are maintained
• You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency, reliability, and cost control.

What Makes You Great

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Strong experience in fleet, heavy vehicle, or diesel maintenance environments
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills suits your profile
• Sound knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance documentation requirements
• You have excellent planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong computer literacy and experience using maintenance management systems

We offer an hourly rate $40-$55 per hour plus allowances based on vehicle type.
