Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a casual role within the Intereach - Deniliquin Family Centre. This position is vital for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for preschool and out-of-school hours (OOSH) children. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and well-being of young learners, ensuring they receive high-quality educational experiences that align with our organisational values.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development and learning.
\n
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children in both preschool and OOSH settings.
\n
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support children's individual needs and interests.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies.
\n
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, or working towards this qualification and registered with an RTO.
\n
• Previous experience working with children in a preschool or OOSH setting.
\n
• Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
\n
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
\n
• Working with Children Check clearance.
\n
