We are looking for a Sales Executive to generate new business, from first contact through to closed sale. The initial focus is product sales, particularly LED screens and portable, battery-powered digital signage, primarily across the retail and property sectors. This is a new business role. You will spend your time finding opportunities, qualifying them, preparing quotes and proposals, presenting to clients and closing deals. It is a mix of office-based work in Port Melbourne and getting out to see clients.
Generating leads through outbound activity, market research and social selling on LinkedIn
Following up leads referred to us by our partners
Managing the sales process end to end, with regular contact and timely information at each stage
Preparing proposals, quotes and responses to tenders
Building and delivering sales presentations tailored to each client
Negotiating pricing, terms and contracts
Keeping Zoho CRM current, and preparing accurate forecasts and pipeline reports
Working with marketing on lead generation campaigns, and with our installation team on handover
Three to five years in a sales role, ideally selling a technical product
Audiovisual, DOOH or SaaS experience is highly regarded
Excellent communication skills, particularly when explaining technical products
Confidence presenting to a room
Experience preparing tender and RFP responses, and negotiating price and terms
Strong CRM discipline. Zoho CRM experience is a bonus
Comfort using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar prospecting tools
Strong numeracy and spreadsheet skills, and the ability to stay on top of a busy inbox

Competitive base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation, a motor vehicle allowance and commission
