The Nurse Manager Grade 2 - Clinical Informatics is an exciting leadership opportunity at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, playing a key role in the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing management of electronic Medical Record (eMR) systems. Working collaboratively with clinical, operational, and ICT stakeholders, you will drive digital transformation, support clinical workflow enhancements, and contribute to improved patient care outcomes through innovative informatics solutions and effective change management.

• Lead and support the implementation, optimisation, and adoption of eMR systems and clinical informatics initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical, executive, and ICT stakeholders to drive digital transformation and improve clinical workflows.
• Provide education, training, and change management support for current and future eMR enhancements and technological innovations.
• Monitor documentation practices, identify risks, and implement strategies to strengthen compliance, quality, and patient safety outcomes.
• Support nursing and midwifery services through effective leadership, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational goals.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and collaborative nursing leader with a passion for clinical informatics, digital health innovation, and service improvement. You will have the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, lead change effectively, and use technology to enhance clinical workflows, patient safety, and healthcare outcomes.

• Demonstrated experience in clinical informatics, digital health, eMR systems, or healthcare technology implementation.
• Strong leadership and change management skills, with the ability to support and influence multidisciplinary teams through system transformations
• Sound understanding of clinical governance, documentation standards, patient safety, and quality improvement principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across clinical, operational, and ICT teams.
• Proven ability to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives that enhance clinical workflows, service delivery, and patient outcomes.
