About the role

\n

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our staff in the role of an Allied Health Assistant - Activities Officer. The role works in the Yuranigh House Residential Aged Care at the Molong MPS.

\n

The position is 20 hours per week, worked Monday – Friday, 4 hours per day to support ongoing activities both within the facility and in the wider community. The exact hours are to be determined through negotiation with your manager & job share may be considered.

\n

You would be working with up to 20 residents who have a varied level of skills and interests, their families, staff & management. You will have recent knowledge and experience in providing services in an aged care environment including organising and timetabling activities, along with a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.

\n

Direct support, access to ongoing education and mentoring to grow within the role will be part of the commitment of the facility. The role will report to the HSM with ongoing close relationship with the Nurse Manager and Manager of Environmental Support Services as well as residents families and carers.

Molong is located in Cabonne in the Central Western region and is under 30 minutes from Orange. It has a range of retail and sporting facilities and is a vibrant and supportive community.
