What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering Mathematics across the secondary years 7-12
- Building assessment and using student data to shape your teaching
- Differentiating for a wide range of ability within a class
- Contributing to the maths faculty's planning and collaboration
- Bringing energy and rigour to a school that backs its teachers to do more than cover content
Who We're Looking For
- Current VIT registration (or eligible/working towards)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Relevant Mathematics teaching qualification and secondary classroom experience
- Comfortable working within an all-boys school environment
About You
You're a Maths teacher who is a specialist in your field with deep subject knowledge — you want to be part of a school nationally recognized and make an impact. You don't mind a Year 9 class but capable of teaching VCE Maths in one of the senior streams. You're proactive and notice when a student's fallen behind rather than waiting for the test to tell you. Able to stretch and test capable students to extend learning.
