About the role

The Head of Library (Teacher Librarian)is responsible forleading the development and delivery of library services that support teaching, learning, information and digital literacy across the College. The role combines expertise in learning and teaching, collection management, digital technologies, and emerging educational innovations to ensure the library remains a vibrant and relevant learning environment for all students.

To be successful you will demonstrate:

Eligibility for TRBWA registration

Appropriate Teacher Librarian qualifications or working towards this qualification with experience in education, strong knowledge of collection development, library management, and resource curation (print and digital) to support curriculum

Demonstrated excellence in learning and teaching

Demonstrated expertise in information literacy, inquiry learning with excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills across K–12 contexts

Highly developed information, communication and technology skills

Strong advocacy for all-girls’ education and the promotion of all-girls’ learning environments

Knowledge and commitment to the ethos and values of the College.

Professional integrity and empathy for young people

Capacity for strategic thinking and ability to implement and drive change

Highly developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills

Ability to be a high-functioning, resilient, contributory and collaborative team member

A commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
