We are looking for awarm, reliable, and highly organised Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join our Family Law practice.
This is a great opportunity for a 3rd or 4th year law student who has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Family Law and wants to gain practical experience alongside their studies.
You will be involved in the day-to-day work of the practice, supporting lawyers with client communication, file management, legal research, drafting and matter preparation. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, takes pride in their work and wants to develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Our office is conveniently located in Carnegie, just 50 metres from Carnegie Train Station.
We are looking for someone who issmart, personable, dependable, and genuinely interested in Family Law.
Previous legal or Family Law experience will behighly regarded but is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to developing a career in Family Law.
Experience with the Commonwealth Courts Portal, divorce applications, disclosure, court filing, client scheduling, or Family Law file management will be advantageous.
