Field Service Engineer

The opportunity…

The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of endoscopy equipment, medical laser systems and ultraviolet light sterilisation units. This role provides on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Service Engineer also supports product upgrades, preventative maintenance, customer training, and documentation, working closely with clinical staff and internal teams to deliver high-quality service and minimize equipment downtime

Experience required:

• Proven experience in a similar role within a service, operations, or customer‑focused environment
• Experience dealing directly with customers and resolving issues to a high standard
• Track record of meeting performance targets, KPIs, or service level agreements
• Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions

Desirable (but not essential)

• Industry‑specific qualifications or certifications EG electronics, electrical or trade discipline,
• Experience in Endoscopy environments, hospitals, or service-related industries,
