Catering Assistant - Casual Perth

• $27.09 per hour + 25% casual loading

• Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (some evenings)

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team in Perth . The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and service.

The Position:

\n
• Assist with daily food preparation and service
\n
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other fresh menu items
\n
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
\n
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
\n
• Support kitchen operations in high-volume periods
\n
• Manage stock and minimise waste
\n

\n

The Person:

\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Catering Assistant or in a similar role
\n
• Experience in high-volume catering environments
\n
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) - essential
\n
• School experience - preferred but not required
\n
• Good food preparation and presentation skills
\n
• Intermediate knowledge of food safety and food handling
\n
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
\n
