At Gumbuya World, we're looking for an energetic and organized Events & Reservations Coordinator to help deliver memorable experiences across our park. From weddings and corporate functions to senior groups, birthday celebrations, school excursions, special events and major park activations, you'll play a key role in turning great ideas into extraordinary experiences.

No two days are the same. One day you'll be coordinating a wedding, the next you'll be supporting a major park event, assisting with group bookings, or helping guests plan their perfect day out.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate events, functions, group bookings and reservations from enquiry through to delivery.




• Build strong relationships with guests, clients, suppliers and internal teams.




• Manage event logistics, staffing requirements and operational planning.




• Support hospitality operations and event service delivery.




• Ensure exceptional guest experiences throughout every stage of the journey.




• Assist with bookings, invoicing, payments, reporting and event administration.




• Be involved in exciting seasonal events, festivals and major park activations.




• Work collaboratively across multiple departments to deliver seamless experiences.




• Help showcase Gumbuya World as one of Victoria's leading tourism and entertainment destinations.

• Solutions-focused and able to think on their feet.




• Excited by tourism, entertainment, hospitality and events.




• Available to work weekends, public holidays, school holiday periods and occasional evenings, when many of our events take place.




• Adventurous in spirit and enthusiastic about being part of a unique theme park environment.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in events, tourism, hospitality, customer service or function coordination.




• Strong administration, organisation and communication skills.




• Ability to coordinate bookings, reservations and event logistics.




• Experience delivering exceptional customer service.




• Victorian RSA (essential).




• Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.




• Experience in hospitality, barista, bar service or food and beverage operations is highly regarded.




• Experience with booking systems and reservations processes is advantageous.
