Security Solution Area Lead

Summary AustraliaSolution Area Lead(Security) has one core responsibility: drive sustainable, profitable growth of the Solution Area within the region. Security capability and GTM for both enterprise and mid-market clients integrate under this role so that one strategy, not three parallel agendas, drives Security Solution Area (SA) growth across both channels. The role is the primary Avanade interface to Microsoft for the SA at regional level, named and recognized by Microsoft as the single accountable Avanade leader for this SA, and creates client value through visible market relevance.

Core Accountabilities

End-to-end ownership of sustainable, profitable growth for SA in the region, across both channels. Primary Avanade interface to Microsoft for Security. Owns Avanade's plan for SA and aligns it to Microsoft's priorities and field structure. Makes the SA's growth AI-led and turns the Microsoft partnership into SA pipeline and wins: AI transformation in what the SA takes to market, AI adoption in how it sells and delivers, and co-sell and field alignment that convert the relationship into growth. Integrates the Practice and GTM for both enterprise and mid-market clients’ roles so capability and channel decisions sync to one SA strategy, not three parallel agendas. Anchors solutioning and delivery accountability for SA outcomes, drawing on practice-anchored architects under the deploy-to model. Owns strategic capability direction for the SA: priorities, investment cases, GTM-capability alignment, and workforce planning at strategy level. The Practice Lead (where applicable, subject to scale) owns operational execution. Owns Sold-vs-Delivered CCI integrity for the SA, shared with the Practice Lead. Ensures the SA delivery model is competitive, repeatable, and commerciallyviable, strengthening client outcomes, margins, and future growth Builds the SA reputation as a magnet for talent, and repeatability discipline. Contributes to x-SA pull-through and capability investment with the MUSolution Areas Leaderand peer SA Leaders. Responsible for creating client value and success in the SA, anchored in active senior client relationships across priority accounts and visible market relevance. Carries personal chargeability and marketutilizationexpectations consistent with standard plan type expectations.

Core Competency

To be successful in this role, you will bring: Deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of contemporary Security practices, technologies, and industry trends. A proven track record of originating, leading, and successfully delivering complex Security engagements and transformation programs. Demonstrated success in building, leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. Extensive experience operating within a highly matrixed organisation, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across the Avanade, Microsoft, and Accenture ecosystem. Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and trusted advisor relationships at executive levels. A commercial mindset with experience identifying, shaping, and delivering opportunities that drive business growth and client value. Given the seniority and influence expected of a Security leader, you will possess significant expertise in one or more of the following Security domains: Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance Identity and Access Management (IAM) Application Security Cloud and Infrastructure Security Data Security and Protection Platform and Workplace Security Managed Security Services You must be recognised as a trusted Security leader, combining deep technical credibility with strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead clients through complex security transformations.
