Where you’ll be working

Gunnedah Community Health is a multidisciplinary service located within the Rural Health Centre on the grounds of Gunnedah Hospital.

Working in Gunnedah provides the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the health and wellbeing of people living in a rural community, while being supported by a broader network of health professionals across Hunter New England Local Health District.

About The Role

In this role, you will provide hearing assessment services to clients across the lifespan, from children through to adults. You will manage your clinical workload and appointments, work collaboratively with the community health team, and contribute to the delivery of accessible hearing services to the Gunnedah community.

This is an opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive local and regional network of health professionals.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse who values community-based care and the opportunity to make a difference in a rural setting.

Essential Requirements

• Current authority to practice as Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Post graduate qualifications and relevant experience in Nurse Audiometry or currently enrolled/working towards completion in approved Nurse Audiometry qualification.
