About the role

As a Records Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting records and information management across the Institute. You will ensure records are managed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements while supporting both physical and digital information environments.

What you'll do:

• Managing hard copy records across their lifecycle
• Coordinating records storage, retrieval, transfer and disposal programs
• Applying retention and disposal schedules and records sentencing practices
• Supporting SharePoint document management and information governance
• Maintaining records inventories and metadata standards
• Assisting with records migration, archival and digitisation projects
• Providing advice on records management policies, compliance and best practice
• Supporting Freedom of Information (FOI), privacy and public records obligations

What You'll Bring

• Experience in records management, information management or archives
• Strong understanding of records lifecycle management, records sentencing and disposal authorities
• Experience with SharePoint, document management systems (DMS) and information governance
• Knowledge of records compliance, privacy legislation and public records requirements
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Relevant qualifications in Records Management, Information Management, Archives or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

• Current Victorian Driver Licence
