Maintenance Coordinator

Work Outdoors, On the Water & Behind the Scenes

Aqua Warrior Australia is looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Coordinator to help keep our inflatable aqua park maintained and operating throughout the summer season.

This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who enjoys fixing things, working outdoors and solving practical problems. You'll work both onshore and in the water, helping maintain the inflatable course and the equipment that keeps it running.

This isn't a traditional maintenance job. Getting wet is part of the role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspecting inflatable park pieces for damage, wear and maintenance issues
• Completing repairs to inflatable equipment and assisting with larger repairs
• Monitoring and maintaining pumps, hoses, ropes and other park equipment
• Identifying problems and following up outstanding maintenance
• Cleaning inflatable park pieces in the water, including removing algae, barnacles and marine growth
• Swimming and diving underneath equipment when required for cleaning, inspection and maintenance
• Moving, positioning, inflating and deflating park equipment
• Maintaining tools, repair materials and maintenance supplies
• Assisting with park setup and pack-down
• Helping with general practical tasks required to keep the park operating

Who We're Looking For

• Practical and confident using tools and equipment
• A strong and confident swimmer
• Comfortable working in, around and underneath equipment in the water
• Happy undertaking physical work, including regular cleaning of algae and barnacles
• Good at spotting problems and finding practical solutions
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Reliable, organised and safety focused
• Willing to get their hands dirty and get the job done
• Experience in maintenance, trades, mechanical work, marine environments, boating or other hands-on roles would be beneficial, but isn't essential. Transferable practical skills are also highly valued.

Training on Aqua Warrior's equipment, maintenance processes and repair methods will be provided.

Aqua Warrior has been operating inflatable aqua parks in Australia since 2012 and operates its Moreton Bay park at Pelican Park, Clontarf.

The Maintenance Coordinator plays an important role behind the scenes, helping ensure our equipment remains clean, maintained and ready for thousands of guests throughout the season.
