Bright Waves Swim School is seeking an experienced, driven and people-centred Manager to lead our brand-new Mount Duneed swim school.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing facility, build a high-performing team, and create exceptional experiences for children and families within the local community. As the Swim School Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the operation, from team leadership and customer experience to business performance and community engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach and support a team of swim teachers and customer service staff.

• Create a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the swim school to ensure a safe, efficient and welcoming environment.

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build strong relationships with families.

• Monitor site performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage staffing, rosters, recruitment, onboarding and team development.

• Support local marketing and community engagement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, child safety and industry regulations.

• Promote water safety and help create confident, capable swimmers.

About You

You are an experienced leader who is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and creating positive outcomes for your team, customers and community.

You will ideally have:

• Previous leadership or management experience within a swim school, aquatic centre, recreation facility, or similar service-based environment.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Sound business and financial management skills.

• A commitment to customer service excellence.

• A genuine passion for swimming, water safety and community engagement.

• Swim teaching qualifications (or a willingness to obtain them).

• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to obtain them).
