We are seeking an experienced Team Leader & Novated Leasing Consultant to play a key role in the growth of our novated leasing business.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced novated leasing sales professional to join us at an early stage and help build a high-performing consultant team from the ground up.

Importantly, this is a hands-on sales leadership role. Initially, a significant component of the position will involve personally managing and converting novated leasing enquiries while helping establish the processes, standards and sales culture that will support the growth of the broader team.

A large proportion of our enquiries are generated through digital marketing and online lead generation, so we are specifically looking for someone who has previous experience successfully selling novated leases in a high-volume, digitally generated lead environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and converting inbound novated leasing enquiries generated primarily through digital and online marketing channels.
• Providing customers with novated leasing quotes, education and guidance throughout the sales process.
• Proactively following up leads through phone, email and SMS to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Managing a high-volume sales pipeline and maintaining strong speed-to-lead and follow-up disciplines.
• Developing effective sales processes, scripts, follow-up strategies and conversion practices for digitally generated leads.
• Working closely with management and marketing to improve lead quality, customer experience and conversion performance.
• Taking ownership of individual and team sales targets and key performance metrics.
• Helping recruit, onboard and train additional Novated Leasing Consultants as the business grows.
• Coaching and developing consultants to improve sales performance, product knowledge and customer outcomes.
• Establishing a high-performance, accountable and customer-focused sales culture.
• Over time, taking greater responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the novated leasing consultant team.

About You

We are specifically looking for someone with existing novated leasing sales experience.

Ideally, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Novated Leasing Consultant.
• Strong experience converting online and digitally generated leads.
• Experience working in a high-volume inbound sales environment where speed, persistence and structured follow-up are critical to success.
• A strong understanding of the novated leasing sales process and the ability to confidently explain the benefits of novated leasing to customers.
• A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and conversion targets.
• Strong telephone-based sales and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent pipeline and lead management discipline.
• A commercial mindset with a strong understanding of sales metrics, conversion rates and performance management.
• Previous leadership, mentoring or team management experience would be highly regarded.
• The ambition and capability to progress from a successful individual consultant into leading and developing a larger team.

This is not a role where you will simply inherit an established team and existing processes.

You will be joining the business at an important stage of its growth and will have the opportunity to help build the novated leasing sales function from the ground up.

For the right person, this provides the opportunity to have genuine influence over how the team operates, including sales processes, lead management, recruitment, training, performance standards and team culture.

As volumes increase, we expect to progressively grow the consultant team, with the successful candidate moving into a broader leadership role while remaining commercially focused on the performance of the division.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will be market leading, reflecting the experience and capability required for the role.

We are open to structuring a competitive package incorporating base salary and performance-based incentives, with significant earning potential for a high-performing candidate.
