Raft is a dynamic Australian professional services firm specialising in restructuring and insolvency.
Based in Sydney, we’re known for our modern approach, relatable team and fresh perspective on the way insolvency services are delivered.
Our offshore team is an important part of Raft and works closely with our Sydney based team to support the delivery and progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.

THE ROLE – ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT
As part of Raft’s offshore team, you’ll work closely with our Sydney-based team to assist with the day-to-day progression of restructuring and insolvency engagements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Extracting, reviewing and analysing financial information
- Conducting investigations and transaction analysis
- Preparing working papers and supporting investigation work
- Assisting with statutory reporting and reports to creditors and stakeholders
- Maintaining insolvency software, file records and statutory checklists
- Preparing reconciliations and other financial information
- Assisting with the progression of recurring and statutory tasks
- Working collaboratively with the Sydney team to progress matters efficiently and accurately
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant processes, statutory requirements and professional standards
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 2-3+ years’ experience in accounting, insolvency or a related professional services role
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of assigned work
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively within deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence asking questions or seeking clarification when required
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related discipline
- Experience in Australian insolvency or restructuring will be highly regarded
