Medical Receptionist

Job Description

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA. Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

About the Candidate

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

Relevant reception/customer service experience.
