Join DDH1 Drilling and work on a specialised drilling project in regional Queensland.

DDH1 Drilling is seeking an experienced Diamond Driller for an immediate start on a 2:1 FIFO roster near Cloncurry, Queensland.

\n

We are specifically looking for a Driller with demonstrated experience operating a DRA800 or UDR1200. Previous UDR1200 drill rig experience is highly regarded and also mud rotary and diamond drilling experience.

\n

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Safely operate DRA800 / UDR 1200 and Diamond drilling equipment
\n
• Conduct mud rotary operations using a DR800 / UDR1200 and/or conduct Diamond drilling operations using UDR1200 drill rigs
\n
• Complete daily pre-starts, inspections and preventative maintenance
\n
• Perform drilling activities to client specifications and program requirements
\n
• Monitor drilling performance and identify equipment or operational issues
\n
• Maintain accurate drilling records and reporting
\n
• Assist with equipment maintenance and servicing
\n
• Ensure compliance with company, client and site safety requirements
\n
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace conduct
\n
• Work collaboratively with the drilling crew, supervisors and site personnel
\n

About You \n

\n
• Demonstrated Diamond Drilling experience
\n
• Proven experience operating a DRA800– essential
\n
• Previous UDR1200 drill rig experience highly regarded
\n
• Experience working in remote drilling environments
\n
• Current HR Licence or above
\n
• Current First Aid Certificate
\n
• National Police Clearance
\n
• Cert 3 Drilling certificate
\n
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a drilling crew
\n
• Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
\n
• Desirable tickets include Dogging, Front End Loader, Telehandler and other relevant high-risk or site licences
\n
