About the Role

\n

Step into a key clinical leadership role as a Youth Clinician, helping shape responsive, recovery‐focused mental health care for young people. You'll provide expert nursing care, guide clinical practice and work across teams and services to strengthen youth mental health outcomes.

\n

• Lead safe, high‐quality mental health nursing care
\n
• Provide expert care and support to consumers and carers
\n
• Guide nurses and support developing clinical capability
\n
• Drive projects, standards and service improvement priorities
\n
• Build partnerships across youth, health and community services
\n
• Support a developmental approach to youth mental health care
\n
• Partner with multidisciplinary leaders to coordinate care
\n
• Promote practice that aligns with policy and clinical standards
\n

About You

\n

You're a skilled mental health clinician who brings clinical expertise, strong leadership and a collaborative approach to youth mental health care. You can confidently guide practice, support teams and partner with young people, carers and services to improve outcomes.

\n

To be successful in this role you will:

\n

\n
• Hold current registration with NMBA and a practising certificate
\n
• Hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent
\n
• Bring strong clinical experience in youth mental health services
\n
• Demonstrate advanced assessment, intervention and leadership skills
\n
• Lead clinical change and work collaboratively across services
\n
