Atlas Golf is seeking an experienced On-Site Construction Manager to lead construction delivery on a major golf course redevelopment in South East Melbourne.
This is a hands-on site leadership role for someone with strong experience in large-scale landscape or golf course construction, with particular expertise in civil works, drainage and services coordination.
You will directly manage a small Atlas team of specialist golf course shapers and feature builders, while coordinating subcontractors delivering major packages including bulk earthworks, irrigation and other services.

Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site.
Manage Atlas specialist shapers, operators and feature construction crews.
Coordinate subcontractors across bulk earthworks, irrigation, electrical and other services.
Plan construction sequencing, plant, labour, materials and site access.
Manage interfaces between earthworks, drainage, services and golf course feature construction.
Oversee the accurate capture and preparation of as-built information throughout construction.
Apply project HSEQ requirements in day-to-day planning and site delivery.
Monitor progress, quality, safety and environmental requirements.
Resolve practical site and constructability issues as they arise.
Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants and Club representatives.
We are looking for someone with:
Extensive experience in large-scale landscape or golf course construction.
Strong practical experience in civil construction, drainage and underground services.
Demonstrated experience coordinating irrigation, electrical and other service installations.
Strong understanding of bulk earthworks, levels, grading and construction sequencing.
Experience managing site crews and subcontractors.
Experience overseeing as-built records, survey information and construction documentation.
Strong applied knowledge of HSEQ systems and site-based implementation.
Ability to read and interpret civil, landscape, services and construction drawings.
Strong plant and machinery knowledge.
A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong site leadership skills.
Golf course construction experience is highly regarded, but strong large-scale landscape construction experience with substantial civil, drainage and services exposure will also be considered.
