Growthpoint Properties Australia is looking for an experienced Business Systems Administrator to join our team in Melbourne. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key business systems at an important stage of Growthpoint's technology journey. With our end-to-end Yardi solution currently being implemented, you'll play a central role in supporting the platform as it moves into BAU, helping our people get the most from the system and identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows and reporting.

Reporting to the National IT Leader, you'll work across the business, partnering with internal stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to ensure our systems are reliable, secure and working effectively.

The opportunity

This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to make it your own. You'll become a key point of contact for Yardi and other business systems, combining day-to-day administration and user support with systems improvement, reporting, training and project work.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• providing Level 1 support and administration across the Yardi platform, including Deals, Leasing, Finance, Capex, Forecast and Valuations
• acting as a Yardi super-user and primary point of contact for day-to-day support and functional issues
• managing user provisioning, security roles, permissions, workflow approvals and master data
• providing technical support and training to internal users
• supporting system upgrades, integrations, data migrations and post go-live activities
• identifying opportunities to improve processes through system enhancements, automation and better workflows
• working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into practical system solutions
• coordinating software updates, testing and UAT
• developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Yardi and Power BI
• working with external vendors and IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions
• maintaining system documentation, processes and training materials
• supporting IT governance, data security and audit requirements
• monitoring system usage and providing reporting on performance, training effectiveness and business impact.

About You

You'll bring strong business systems experience and enjoy being the person who understands how systems work, how people use them and how they can be made better. Ideally, you'll have:

• 5+ years' experience in business systems administration and reporting, ideally within property, finance or a listed REIT environment
• strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager
• technical proficiency across SQL, Excel, Jira and Microsoft Office
• experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
• strong knowledge of system security, user provisioning, permissions, access reviews and segregation of duties
• experience across system configuration, workflow design, data migration, testing and continuous improvement
• the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technology partners and vendors
• strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for different audiences
• a proactive approach and genuine interest in learning and adapting as technology evolves.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platform concepts, including lakehouses, data pipelines and semantic models, would be an advantage.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week. Limited travel may be required from time to time.
