Used Car Coordinator

We are looking for a Used Vehicle Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on and varied role where you will take ownership of the used vehicle process from start to finish. From the moment a vehicle arrives through to it being fully reconditioned, photographed and advertised online, you will play a key role in ensuring every vehicle is prepared, presented and ready for sale.

The Role

As our Used Vehicle Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day flow of used vehicles through the reconditioning and preparation process.

You will work closely with our sales, workshop, detailing and Pre-Delivery teams to ensure vehicles are progressing efficiently and nothing gets missed along the way.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of the used vehicle process from arrival through to being ready for sale
• Coordinating the reconditioning process for used vehicles
• Assessing vehicles and identifying work required before they are ready for sale
• Coordinating mechanical repairs, servicing and required maintenance
• Coordinating detailing, cosmetic repairs and vehicle presentation requirements
• Managing the workflow of vehicles between departments and external suppliers where required
• Tracking the progress of each vehicle and following up to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Identifying delays or issues and proactively following up to keep vehicles moving through the process
• Ensuring vehicles are completed and ready for photography as quickly as possible
• Coordinating and completing vehicle photography
• Ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard before being photographed
• Uploading or coordinating the upload of vehicle photos and information for online advertising
• Ensuring vehicles are listed online accurately and in a timely manner
• Conducting final quality checks before vehicles are advertised
• Maintaining accurate records and keeping relevant teams updated on vehicle progress
• Moving and positioning vehicles around the site as required
• Supporting the wider Pre-Delivery team with vehicle preparation, yard duties and general operations when required

This role is all about ownership, organisation and keeping vehicles moving. You will be responsible for making sure every used vehicle progresses through the process efficiently and is presented online and ready for sale as quickly as possible.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys taking ownership of a process.

You will ideally have:

• Automotive or dealership experience (preferred, but not essential)
• A current driver's licence (essential)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities at once
• A proactive approach and willingness to follow things through
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of vehicle presentation
• Confidence communicating and coordinating with multiple departments and suppliers
• The ability to identify problems and proactively find solutions
• Good computer skills and confidence working with online systems
• An interest in vehicles and the automotive industry
• Reliability, initiative and a willingness to get hands-on when required
• A team-first attitude and willingness to support other areas of the Pre-Delivery department when needed
