Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading all housekeeping functions across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest readiness are consistently achieved. The role oversees room presentation, public areas, staffing, training, inventory control, contractor management and departmental performance while fostering a positive and productive team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support housekeeping supervisors and room attendants
• Recruit, train and onboard new team members
• Develop a positive, accountable and engaged team culture
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching
• Foster a workplace aligned with the Trentham Waters Resort Experience Code
• Ensure guest villas are presented to exceptional standards
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas and guest facilities
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits
• Manage guest feedback relating to housekeeping services
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and presentation standards

About you

• Previous experience in a housekeeping leadership role within hospitality, hotels, resorts or accommodation properties
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to develop efficient systems and work processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Driver Licence
• Availability to work weekends as operationally required
