The Simply Goldstar Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and optimizing daily manufacturing workflows. Working closely with operators, and cross-functional teams, this role ensures operational excellence, financial efficiency, and total customer satisfaction. As a critical thinker and key operational point of contact, the supervisor fosters a culture of continuous improvement, team development, and proactive problem resolution.

Key Job Functions

\n

\n
• Directly report to and support the General Manager of the site.
\n
• Supervise daily production operations to ensure schedules are efficiently executed on time and within budget.
\n
• Drive performance across operational units, achieving or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, delivery, and cost control.
\n
• Oversee inventory management and collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
\n
• Partner with maintenance and quality control teams to consistently uphold Vista's product standards and customer experience.
\n
• Lead teams with empathy, passion, and strong interpersonal commitment.
\n
• Maintain full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies.
\n

Leading the Production Operations Function:

• Contribute to developing and executing strategic business initiatives and operational best practices.
\n
• Champion innovative solutions to enhance market competitiveness within the production function.
\n
• Participate in workforce strategy planning, resource management, and budgeting.
\n
• Empower operators through continuous coaching, upskilling, and active people management support.
\n
• Promote and cultivate a sustainable continuous improvement mindset across all teams.

Stakeholder Management:

\n
• Build and nurture robust relationships with key internal and external partners to optimize performance.
\n
• Ensure transparent and thorough communication with shift leads and stakeholders regarding plant-level operational changes.
\n
• Collaborate across APAC regional teams to minimize costs, elevate quality standards, and drive co-created operational solutions.
\n
• Work closely with leadership and support departments including Operations team, Supply Chain, and People & Culture.
\n

Customer Obsessed Mindset:

• Uphold rigorous product quality standards across all production lines.

• Liaise with regional and global departments to swiftly resolve customer experience issues.

Key Tasks

\n

\n
• Execute and maintain global quality control systems and framework standards.
\n
• Analyze quality defects to implement effective short-term containment and long-term preventive countermeasures.
\n
• Serve as an active champion for a strong continuous improvement culture.
\n
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and log quality concerns accurately.
\n
• Lead, mentor, and professionalize the Quality personnel team.
\n
• Perform internal process audits to ensure ongoing integrity of the Quality Management System.
\n
• Facilitate cross-departmental inspection meetings to resolve quality issues and raise operational awareness.
\n
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis and provide strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
\n
• Track, evaluate, and report on functional goals and Key Performance Indicators.
\n
• Ensure full alignment with environmental, health, and safety protocols to protect staff and visitors.
\n
• Conduct risk assessments on processes and tasks within the Quality department.
\n
• Leverage data reporting to deliver actionable insights that elevate quality benchmarks and product performance.
\n
• Maintain full accountability for quality management execution and standard compliance.
\n
• Empower and nurture the production team by identifying high-potential talent and delivering targeted performance coaching.
\n
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operators regarding operational roadblocks and workforce management concerns.
\n
• Direct labor allocation, resource budgeting, and skills development initiatives to meet high seasonal demand peaks.
\n
• Communicate organizational strategy and goals to team members with complete transparency.
\n
• Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and comprehensive operational support to team members.
\n

\n

Experience / Training

\n

\n
• Advanced degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
\n
• Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in a production environment.
\n
• Demonstrated background within the manufacturing industry.
\n
• Proven expertise in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Yellow, Green, or Black Belt preferred) and Kaizen practices.
\n
• Strong track record of innovation and critical thinking.
\n
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
\n
