To support our mission, we are currently seeking a Specialist Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) to work out of our Brisbane branch driving initiatives & compliance across QLD and interstate.

\n

You will collaborate closely & regularly with the key influencers within BMSA to ensure our business complies with all mandated & legislated requirements including customer specific standards & protocols.

The Opportunity \n

\n
• Frequent travel to BMSA & customer locations across Australia & specifically QLD .
\n
• Protect the health (physical or psychological) & safety of workers & other people within the workplace by eliminating or minimizing risks
\n
• Ensure all workplace equipment, systems, guidelines, practices & procedures comply with the relevant HSEQ legislation, standards & protocols
\n
• Conduct regular & effective communication with all stakeholders
\n
• Assist in & conduct HSEQ investigations through analysis, evidence & interpretation of data to determine appropriate corrective actions
\n
• Collaborate closely with the National HSEQ Team
\n
• Encourage a 'continuous improvement' mindset amongst all stakeholders
\n
• Identify knowledge & skill gaps to rectify with appropriate training
\n

About You - Essential \n

\n
• Excellent verbal & written communication (preferably in procedure writing)
\n
• Solid computing skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office suite
\n
• Strong relationship building with internal & external stakeholders
\n
• Well-developed organisational & time management skills
\n
• Knowledge of current HSEQ statutory requirements
\n
• Strong commitment to safety of yourself & others
\n
• Acceptance of regular intrastate and interstate travel
\n
• A valid driver's licence
\n
• Current work rights in Australia
\n

About You - Preferred \n

\n
• Experience working in a similar HSEQ role
\n
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
\n
• Knowledge or exposure to Off the Road (OTR) Tyres, mining or related industries
\n
