The Opportunity \n

The Obligations & Controls Lead - Energy is a first-line risk and compliance role responsible for supporting Energy Operations to meet its regulatory, policy and operational obligations.

\n

The role maintains obligations registers, documents controls, performs monitoring and testing, supports remediation activities and strengthens operational governance across Energy Operations.

What you'll be responsible for \n

\n
• Maintain Energy Operations obligations registers and control inventories.
\n
• Support implementation of regulatory obligations into operational processes.
\n
• Conduct first-line control testing and monitoring activities.
\n
• Identify control weaknesses, process gaps and emerging compliance risks.
\n
• Support remediation activities and monitor corrective actions.
\n
• Maintain evidence repositories and governance documentation.
\n
• Prepare compliance reporting, dashboards and governance updates.
\n
• Support regulatory reviews, audits and assurance activities.
\n

What you'll bring to the role \n

\n
• Experience in compliance, risk, governance, controls or assurance environments.
\n
• Experience in a regulated industry.
\n
• Ability to translate obligations into operational controls.
\n
• Strong analytical and reporting capability.
\n
• Experience with audit, assurance or control testing is desirable.
\n
