Speedo is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to join our Harbour Town store. This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised sports brand and be part of a fast-paced, premium retail environment where customer experience, team culture and commercial results all go hand in hand.

Whether you’re stepping up from a Supervisor, Keyholder or Senior Casual role, or already working in retail leadership, this is a great opportunity to continue growing your career with strong support and development. Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help bring the Speedo brand to life by delivering exceptional customer experiences, building a strong team culture and supporting the daily operations of the store.

The role you’d play

Customer Experience

• Lead from the front in delivering exceptional customer service
• Create a customer-first culture within the store
• Build genuine customer connections and brand loyalty
• Support the team in delivering premium product knowledge and service
• Help customers feel confident in and around the water through expert product recommendations
• Resolve customer feedback and issues with professionalism and urgency

People & Team

• Help coach, develop and inspire the store team
• Create a positive, supportive and high-energy team environment
• Support onboarding, training and team development
• Encourage collaboration, accountability and strong communication
• Lead with a positive, hands-on attitude every day
• Bring energy, initiative and confidence to the shop floor

Store Operations & Performance

• Support the day-to-day operations of the store
• Drive sales, customer conversion and store results
• Understand what drives performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Help create a premium in-store experience through strong presentation and merchandising
• Support stock management and inventory processes
• Ensure operational standards, safety and company expectations are maintained
