Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) is a proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) committed to healing, supporting, serving and protecting Aboriginal communities across the Mallee region. We are seeking a dedicated Koori Men's Diversion Case Worker to deliver culturally safe, intensive case management to Aboriginal men in Mildura. This position focuses on a holistic, trauma-informed approach to divert participants from further contact with the criminal justice system.
This is a designated Aboriginal Identified Role. The filling of this position is intended to constitute a Special Measure under Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
This is also a Gender-Specific Role open to male applicants only. This is a lawful Genuine Occupational Requirement under Section 28 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
This is a full time ongoing position based in our Mildura office.
