What You’ll Do

As a Lead Electrical Engineer (I&C) for our Mining & Resources team in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Partner with clients to deliver complex electrical, instrumentation and control projects, providing expert technical guidance from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Lead technical design packages and provide trusted engineering advice that enables confident, informed decisions.
• Shape innovative and resilient engineering solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.
• Drive project performance through engineering excellence, optimisation and continuous improvement, while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering, coupled with RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng accreditation and extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• A proven track record delivering practical, impactful outcomes across oil and gas, mining or water projects.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, including technical reporting, client relationship management and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• The ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and develop effective engineering solutions while balancing technical, operational and project requirements.
• A flexible and hands-on approach, with the ability to undertake site visits as required to support successful project delivery.
