Quality Officer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across Melbourne's North West Victoria region.

This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple locations, partnering closely with Business Operations Managers, Leadership Teams, Care Managers, and our National Quality, Risk & Clinical Governance team to drive consistent, high-quality service delivery.

As a visible and trusted quality partner, you will help strengthen quality systems, support teams through legislative and industry changes, and foster a positive culture of continuous improvement. Regular travel between offices will form part of this role, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide hands‑on support where it is needed most.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and embed quality, compliance, and risk management practices across multiple office locations.
• Promote consistent implementation of Dovida's Quality Management System (QMS), Aged Care Quality Standards, and legislative requirements.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operational teams to translate quality requirements into everyday practice.
• Support incident management, complaints, risk assessments, and quality investigations.
• Analyse quality data and trends to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Assist offices with audit preparation, compliance evidence, and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong relationships across all sites to promote a positive quality culture and shared learning.

About You

You are a collaborative and approachable quality professional who enjoys working with operational teams to improve quality outcomes and support best practice.

You will bring

• Experience in quality, compliance, risk management, auditing, or governance within a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of aged care, community care, disability services, or healthcare quality frameworks.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement, quality management systems, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach others.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently across multiple sites while building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable; however, equivalent experience will also be considered.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to regularly travel between office locations.
