About the Role

\n

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining the financial integrity of the business while providing commercial insight and support across a range of operational areas.

\n

This is a broad commercial accounting role that partners closely with operational leaders, helping them understand performance, identify opportunities and make informed decisions.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

• Monthly management reporting and financial analysis
\n
• General ledger management and financial controls
\n
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
\n
• Capital expenditure reporting and administration
\n
• Taxation, compliance and group reporting support
\n
• Cost analysis and operational performance reporting
\n
• Business partnering and decision support
\n
• Process improvement and reporting automation initiatives
\n

About You

\n

You may be an experienced Financial Accountant seeking broader commercial exposure, or an ambitious accountant ready to accelerate your development in a role with genuine responsibility and scope.

\n

You'll ideally bring:

\n

\n
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
\n
• CPA or CA qualification, or active progress towards completion
\n
• Commercial accounting experience within industry
\n
• Exposure to manufacturing, agribusiness, food production or other operational environments
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• Advanced Excel capability and ERP experience
\n
• The ability to communicate financial information in a practical and meaningful way
\n
• A genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate
\n
