EL1 Program Reporting Specialist – Commonwealth Government | Canberra
Contract | Up to 30 June 2027 + Extensions

Indigeco is recruiting an experienced EL1 Program Reporting Specialist for our Commonwealth Government client in Canberra.
This role will support a large-scale transformation and regulatory reform program, providing integrated program reporting, executive dashboards, performance monitoring and governance reporting across multiple business and technology workstreams.

CONTRACT & RATE

• Initial contract: until 30 June 2027


• Extensions: Up to 12 additional months via 2 x 6-month extensions


• Hours: 40 hours per week


• Indicative candidate rate: $85 -$100per hour + superannuation

THE COMPANY

Our client is a Commonwealth Government agency operating within a complex, secure and highly regulated environment.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant reform and transformation program combining regulatory change, business transformation and technology delivery, working closely with program leadership, PMO teams, delivery teams and senior stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain integrated program reporting frameworks, templates and standards


• Coordinate, validate and consolidate reporting inputs across multiple workstreams


• Produce weekly, fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc program reports


• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, performance scorecards and governance reports


• Monitor delivery against plans, milestones, schedules and program objectives


• Analyse performance information to identify risks, issues, dependencies, trends and emerging concerns


• Prepare executive reports, briefing papers, presentations and governance materials


• Maintain reporting across risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions and benefits


• Support integrated delivery schedules, roadmaps and milestone reporting


• Provide reporting evidence for assurance reviews, audits and gateway assessments


• Improve reporting processes, automation and data visualisation capability


• Work closely with PMO, program leadership, Release Train Engineers, delivery teams and business stakeholders.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years' experience delivering Program Reporting, PMO Reporting or Portfolio Reporting within large and complex government programs


• Strong experience developing executive-level dashboards and governance reporting


• Experience supporting senior executive governance forums and preparing high-quality briefing materials


• Strong analytical capability across program performance, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies


• Experience working within highly regulated government environments involving governance, assurance and audit


• Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Azure DevOps/DevOps and Microsoft Office


• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across multiple workstreams


• Experience in major transformation, reform or regulatory change programs highly regarded


• Agile, SAFe or hybrid delivery experience advantageous


• PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK or equivalent qualifications desirable.

SECURITY CLEARANCE & CITIZENSHIP

• Australian Citizenship is mandatory


• Candidates must hold a minimum Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance


• National Police Check is also required
