We're looking for a Principal Urban Designer, in our Brisbane office, to lead and grow Jacobs' urban design capability across Australia and New Zealand while influencing some of the region's most significant infrastructure, precinct renewal and city-shaping projects.

\n

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking, client leadership and project delivery. You'll work with government and private sector clients to identify opportunities, shape project vision and strategy, build trusted relationships, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional urban outcomes.

• Grow and strengthen our urban design capability and team across ANZ.
\n
• Influence major transport, infrastructure and precinct projects from vision through to delivery.
\n
• Develop long-term client relationships and help shape future opportunities.
\n
• Lead complex urban design and city-shaping projects.
\n
• Collaborate with planners, architects, landscape architects, engineers and economists to deliver integrated solutions.
\n
• Contribute to thought leadership and help position Jacobs as a leader in urban design and placemaking

Here's what you'll need

\n

\n
• A background in urban design, architecture, urban planning, strategic planning, landscape architecture or a related discipline.
\n
• Experience leading complex infrastructure, precinct or city-shaping projects.
\n
• Strong client relationship and business development capability.
\n
• The ability to translate strategic conversations into meaningful project outcomes.
\n
• A passion for mentoring people and growing capability.
\n
