We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Support Officer to join the Human Resources team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in HR.

You\'ll gain hands-on experience across HR and Payroll enquiries, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, HR systems, workforce reporting and employee support, while being supported by experienced HR professionals.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the independent prosecuting authority responsible for the prosecution of all serious indictable offences committed against the laws of New South Wales. We are an agency of over 1100 staff, working throughout NSW to service the main court centres. Our 10 offices have a mix of Crown Prosecutors, Solicitor Advocates, Solicitors and support staff.

The Role \n

• Support the delivery of HR services and people-focused initiatives.
\n
• Respond to HR and payroll enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
\n
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
\n
• Maintain HR systems, records and reports.
\n
• Assist with coordinating learning and development activities and events.
\n
• Support workforce projects and process improvement initiatives.
\n
• Work collaboratively with employees, managers and stakeholders across the organisation.
\n

• Has completed a qualification in Human Resources, or a related field.
\n
• Under 25 years old
\n
• Is keen to build a career in HR and learn from experienced professionals.
\n
• Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service.
\n
• Is confident using technology and learning new systems.
\n
• Can manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team.
\n
• Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and respect for confidentiality.
