Overlooking the water in Hervey Bay, Bayswater Bar & Grill brings together dining, drinks, live sport, entertainment, functions and gaming. It's a venue that welcomes both locals and visitors, and we're looking for a Duty Manager who enjoys being on the floor and making every shift run well.

As a Duty Manager, you'll support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations and lead the team during your shifts. You'll be a calm, hands-on presence across the venue, helping the team deliver great service while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading shifts across the venue and supporting team members through busy service periods
\n
• Opening and closing the venue, including cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
\n
• Maintaining standards across food and beverage, gaming, TAB and KENO
\n
• Coaching team members and helping create a positive team culture
\n
• Responding to guest feedback and resolving issues as they arise
\n
• Following liquor, gaming, food safety and workplace safety requirements
\n

About you \n

You'll bring experience supervising a busy pub, hotel, club or similar licensed venue. You're confident making decisions on shift, supporting your team and stepping in wherever needed. Experience with gaming, TAB or KENO would be particularly valuable. You'll need current Queensland RSA and RSG qualifications, or the ability to obtain any required venue-specific qualifications before starting. Availability for evenings and weekends is part of the role.
