About the Role

\n
\n

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality support for business-critical applications? Babcock Australasia is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our dynamic Business Solutions team.

\n
\n

In this role, you will provide operational support for a diverse portfolio of business applications, including both commercial off-the-shelf solutions and internally developed systems. Working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, you will be responsible for ensuring applications remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include investigating and resolving application incidents, service requests, and system issues; performing application configuration and administration activities; identifying opportunities for process and system improvements; and supporting the delivery of application enhancements and upgrades. You will also contribute to system integration activities, assist with testing and change implementation, and provide advice and guidance to users to maximise application effectiveness.

Additionally, you will produce and maintain operational, technical, and support documentation, assist with gathering and analysing business requirements, and work collaboratively with solution architects, developers, and project teams to support the design and delivery of application solutions.

To be successful, you will bring:

\n
\n

\n
\n
• Australian Citizenship with a Defence Security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
\n
\n
• Experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise business applications.
\n
\n
• Exposure to both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-developed applications - both On Prem + Cloud.
\n
\n
• Administration and support experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Data Centre, and Confluence.
\n
\n
• Experience working with application vendors and external service providers.
\n
\n
• Knowledge of ITIL service management principles, incident management, and change management processes.
\n
\n
• Experience with application testing, release management, and system integrations.
\n
\n
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n
\n
