As we continue to expand our restaurant and Drive Thru network, we’re looking for a Drive Thru Performance Manager to join our Operations Excellence team and help shape the next chapter of Grill’d.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations Excellence, the Drive Thru Performance Manager will lead the evolution of Drive Thru performance across our national restaurant network.

This role is all about creating best-in-class Drive Thru operations. You’ll improve speed, throughput, order accuracy and hospitality while balancing labour efficiency, commercial performance and the experience of our dine-in customers.

Combining data-driven insights with process improvement and hands‑on coaching, you’ll partner with restaurant and operations leaders to turn opportunities into practical actions and sustainable results.

The role is ideally based at our Melbourne Support Office and regular national travel will be required.

• Elevate Drive Thru Performance: Lead targeted initiatives that improve speed of service, window times, total transaction times, order accuracy and average spend.
• Create WOW Experiences: Embed engaging and personalised hospitality that makes every Drive Thru interaction memorable.
• Turn Data into Action: Analyse performance measures, identify trends and translate insights into clear operational priorities.
• Improve Productivity: Increase cars and transactions per labour hour while maintaining outstanding food quality, accuracy and customer experience.
• Coach for Success: Work alongside restaurant leaders and teams to build capability, embed consistent routines and improve performance.
• Optimise the Operating Model: Review systems, processes, layouts and ways of working to create efficient, scalable Drive Thru operations.
• Partner Across the Business: Collaborate with Operations, Restaurant Excellence, Training, Technology, Property and other teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Support Growth: Bring operational expertise to new Drive Thru openings, helping teams launch confidently and perform strongly from day one.
• Drive Commercial Results: Increase Drive Thru sales contribution and profitability while maintaining the right balance between Drive Thru and in-restaurant experiences.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Drive Thru Expertise: Strong experience leading or improving Drive Thru operations within QSR, fast casual dining or a similarly fast‑paced environment.
• Multi‑Site Operator: Demonstrated experience influencing performance across multiple restaurants, sites or regions.
• Performance Focused: Exceptional understanding of Drive Thru measures such as speed of service, throughput, order accuracy, average spend and labour productivity.
• Data Driven: Confident analysing operational data, identifying opportunities and turning insights into practical actions.
• Brilliant Coach: A hands‑on leader who can engage teams, influence senior leaders, build capability and embed new ways of of working.
