Caloundra Removals & Storage is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to support our accounts, administration and business compliance functions.
This is primarily an accounts-focused position, supported by general administration and business compliance responsibilities. The role will suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes ownership of their work and can manage multiple priorities confidently in a busy environment.
This position is based at our Sunshine Coast office and offers the opportunity to be part of a stable, hands-on team where accuracy, initiative and practical support are valued. Working closely with our Administration and Operations teams, you will support accounts, administration and business compliance functions in a primarily accounts-focused position.
Managing and prioritising a shared email inbox
Reviewing customer invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
Reviewing projects within MoveWare
Assisting with accounts receivable and general accounts functions
Completing bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing and reconciling petty cash expenses
Receipting and maintaining accurate financial records
Coordinating employee travel and accommodation across Australia
Maintaining accurate information across business systems
Assisting with general business administration and compliance requirements
Previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience
Experience with reconciliations, receipting and expense reporting
A genuine interest in numbers and a practical approach to problem-solving
Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
Strong time-management and organisational skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A high level of computer literacy, particularly across the Microsoft Office suite
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, both by email and telephone
The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team
