Available shifts:

Week 1 (total 12.5 hours):

• Friday 0700–1400
• Saturday 0800–1430

Week 2 (total 19 hours):

• Thursday 0700–1400
• Friday 0700–1400
• Saturday 0800–1430

The Role

We are looking for experienced Laundry Assistant for our Clarinda on the Park home, in Clarinda, home to 78 residents.

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of laundry equipment, washing instructions and cleaning methods
• Demonstrate awareness of legislative requirements relevant to the position including Occupational Health & Safety
• Be responsive to the needs of residents by tailoring services to meet individual needs
• Ensure efficient use of laundry materials and resources
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Previous experience working with older people in a comparable setting (desirable)
• Demonstrated positive, courteous and client-focused behaviour
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
