The Coroner's Solicitor is responsible for supporting the Coroner with their investigation into reportable deaths and fires by providing end to end legal case management and assistance.Core functions of the role are to:*; Undertake legal research and analysis and prepare complex legal reports, briefs, and correspondence and prepare and instruct in court in coronial Inquests.*; Work effectively with stakeholders and agencies to obtain additional information needed to support the coronial investigation.*; Provide high quality advice on sensitive and/or complex legal issues.You can also read the attached `A Day in the Life of a Coroner's Solicitor' to find out more on what you can expect working at the Coroners Court.About youAs the successful candidate, you will be an established legal professional.
