We are on the hunt for Shift Supervisors to join our Zam fam at our Broadbeach restaurant!

\n

Applicants must currently be in Queensland, Australia and hold a valid visa with work rights in Australia to be considered.Unfortunately, we can’t entertain applications from candidates currently overseas or without valid work rights.

Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate who is committed to building a long-term career with us. We welcome applications from candidates who are eligible and willing to work full-time on a long-term basis.

We are Zambrero. Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with yummy fresh ingredients that won’t leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night so you can be flexible and keep up your work, school and play.
\n But we are not just a healthy quick service restaurant! We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.

What you’ll do \n

Our Shift Supervisor take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.

• Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations
\n
• Being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
\n
• Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
\n
• Assisting with hiring new team members and on-boarding them
\n
• Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
\n
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
\n
• Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
\n
• Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
\n
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
\n
• Assisting with executing marketing promotions
\n
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
\n
