Job description

Australasia's leading food company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a leading FMCG organisation based in West Footscray, VIC.

This is a key site-based leadership role, responsible for driving quality, food safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the facility.

About the role:

  • Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System
  • Drive food safety, quality and GMP standards across the site
  • Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and customer audits
  • Lead HACCP, quality reviews, investigations and corrective actions
  • Identify and manage food safety and quality risks
  • Develop and deliver site quality plans and improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with Operations, Production and broader Quality teams
  • Support NPD and change management from a quality and food safety perspective
  • Monitor key quality metrics, complaints, waste and non-conformances

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline
  • 3+ years' experience in a Quality Lead/Manager role within FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems and regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing audits, HACCP, investigations and corrective actions
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence site teams and drive continuous improvement
