We are a proud Australian manufacturer and distributor of lubrication, fluid-handling, and industrial equipment, trusted by trade and industrial customers nationally. We're growing our internal sales team and looking for two Inside Salespeople to own and grow a dedicated portfolio of smaller commercial accounts by phone — no cold calling, no field travel, just building real relationships with existing Macnaught customers.
This is a genuinely supported, well-structured role: a defined portfolio of 600+ existing accounts, a clear call cycle, and a direct line to our National Sales Manager. Manage your own portfolio of 600+ existing accounts on a structured call cycle — you decide how to build the relationship; we give you the system to run it.
Make outbound calls to existing customers for quoting, relationship-building, and account retention — around 20–25 conversations a day.
Quote and proactively spot opportunities to grow each account.
Keep the CRM accurate and up to date — call outcomes, next actions, and pricing notes.
Work closely with our field Territory Managers and Customer Service team — you're never on an island, and there's a clear path to hand accounts up when they grow.
Support price-increase rollouts, back-order updates, and product-change communications across your portfolio.
2+ years' experience in phone-based sales, account management, or customer service, handling a large portfolio (100+ accounts) — B2B, trade, or industrial background strongly preferred.
A confident, genuine phone manner — this is a relationship role, not a script-reading one.
Comfort with numbers — reading a price list, calculating a discount, explaining a price increase without flinching.
Solid CRM literacy (we'll train you on our system) and basic Excel/Outlook skills.
A reliable, process-driven approach — this role runs on a consistent call cycle, not just closing the occasional big win.
Highly regarded experience in industrial, trade, automotive, or fluid-handling/lubrication products.
Based at our Turrella office — no remote work, but no field travel either.
A clearly defined portfolio and KPIs from day one, with full training and a 90-day settling-in period.
