As Vet Field Sales Manager , you'll be at the heart of our sales success, leading a national team to execute winning retail strategies, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy and people-focused leader to make a significant impact at both a strategic and operational level.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...

\n

Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you'll lead and inspire a national team of Vet Territory Managers, creating the conditions for success through coaching, capability building, and a relentless focus on execution excellence.

\n

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing field sales team, building capability and driving a culture of ownership and accountability.
\n
• Shape and execute Vet field sales strategies that grow market share, strengthen brand visibility, and elevate customer engagement.
\n
• Partner closely with Marketing, Category and Commercial teams to bring business priorities to life in-store.
\n
• Develop and deliver annual field plans aligned to business objectives and customer strategies.
\n
• Lead execution across key customers including Vet Clinics and Pet Specialty, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and flawless implementation.
\n
• Use performance insights and market intelligence to identify opportunities, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
\n
• Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders, influencing outcomes and delivering sustainable growth.
\n
• Maintain a strong presence in the field through regular customer and team visits across metropolitan and regional Nationally.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

\n

You're a proven sales leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to translate strategy into action.

\n

You'll bring:

\n

\n
• Ideally Degree qualified in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Nutrition or a related field.
\n
• Proven senior sales, field leadership or account management experience within the vet channel, animal health, pet health, pharmaceutical or premium FMCG environment.
\n
• Strong understanding of veterinary clinic operations, customer dynamics, wholesalers, corporate clinic groups and buying groups.
\n
• Ability to turn shopper, clinic, category and customer insights into growth opportunities across recommendation, education, ranging and sales uptake.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing field teams with strong technical confidence, commercial capability and execution discipline.
\n
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience managing investment to deliver profitable growth.
\n
• Ability to balance strategy with hand-on field execution, supported by strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI capability.
\n
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly across states, including regional and overnight travel.
\n
• A genuine passion for pets and Purina's purpose of creating richer lives for pets and the people who love them.
